Since 2016 the exhibition has raised funds through visitor donations for the Johabetto Orphanage, Kitale, Kenya.
In 2016 £800 was raised and funded new beds and mattresses. In 2017 £900 was raised and is going towards the pumped water supply installation project. At the 2018 exhibition all proceeds from the cafe will go towards the pumped water supply project.
The orphanage provides a family environment and education for disabled orphans that have either been abandoned or have lost their parents to Aids or other diseases. Martin and Ruth Shikuku provide shelter, food and education for some of the most vulnerable special needs children from the Kambi Teso slum.
